Want to make sure your donation gets to charity during the postal strikes?
Make a direct donation through JustGiving and we’ll make sure it gets sent straight to your charity’s bank account.
You don’t need to be sponsoring anybody to use JustGiving. Did you know you can also make a direct donation to your choice of over 8,000 UK charities - large and small - at any time? And you can make it either a one-off or a monthly donation, so you get to choose not just how much you give, but also how often.
Making donating more efficient
We send 100% of each donation straight to the charity’s bank account, also reclaiming the Gift Aid that so many smaller charities simply haven’t got the time or resources to process. We charge a 5% transaction fee, which we only take from the Gift Aid once we’ve reclaimed it, and we invest constantly in providing a better service for charities, enabling them them raise more and raise it faster.
We know that the prospect of national postal strikes next week is a real worry for charities, especially the small ones already being hit hard by the recent regional strikes that have stopped vital postal donations from getting through.
So how about making sure your donation gets to the charity when they need it most, by making a direct donation on JustGiving now? Go to www.justgiving.com and type the charity’s name into the search box called ‘Find a charity‘.
