Today we’re sharing a presentation with you, but it’s not just any old slide deck. It’s an unusual initiative from charity sector body CharityComms and volunteer-led third sector communications organisation Bright One.
They asked a range key people from influential charities, the charity industry (and me) to share five charity comms trends they thought would be most significant over the next ten years. Everyone was asked to use an image to represent their vision. The sum total of this is a really interesting and insightful presentation of thought-provoking ideas that you can see below:
CharityComms director Vicky Browning said: ‘With increasingly rapid changes to the way we communicate, plus upheavals in politics, environment and the economic situation, third sector organisations need to be constantly looking ahead.’
Ben Matthews, founder of Bright One said: ‘ The combined vision of so many influential thinkers in the charity sector has produced a unique insight into the future of communications.’
Matthews added: ‘CharityComms 2020 is an open resource and we would welcome additional contributions from anyone in the sector who would like to add their views to those already gathered.’
