Fancy helping your charity’s brand sweep through the social networking community, and boost your donations to boot? You need a Twibbon campaign! Luckily you’ve come to just the place.
Dogs Trust raised £1,000 in just 48 hours with their Valentine appeal Twibbon campaign, as well as attracting lots of new supporters.

JustGiving, Twibbon and Dogs Trust Case Study
Following their success story, we’re really pleased to be able to give away 50 more Twibbon accounts.
How does it work?
Supporters on Twitter and Facebook add your charity’s Twibbon logo to their profile picture and a tweet or update is automatically sent to their friends, encouraging them to do the same. The supporter is redirected to your JustGiving profile page where they can make a donation.
One in 10 people made a donation to Dogs Trust, making each Twibbon added worth about 60p. “By promoting the Twibbon on Twitter, Facebook and in our newsletters, we were able to reach our supporters who were interested in showing their friends that they support us,” Jacqui Darlow, the charity’s digital marketing manager tells us.
How do I enter?
We think this is a pretty valuable prize – it doesn’t matter how big or small your charity is, winners who really put some thought into how to promote their Twibbon will reap the rewards in donations. Think you’re up to the task? Then answer a few questions telling us how you would make the most of your custom Twibbon campaign, and get it back to us by the 20th May. The worthy winners will be selected by JustGiving’s digital strategist Jonathan Waddingham and the community team. And we’re keen to hear how the winning charities’ campaigns are going – so keep us posted.
