Closing date: 05/05/2010.
So the London Marathon – the world’s largest single-day fundraising event – is over and with it, JustGiving’s busiest week of the year. We’re looking forward to the long weekend, and whether you ran the Marathon or not, we’re sure you are too.
But just because you’re taking it easy doesn’t mean the fundraising has to stop. Whatever you’re up to this Bank Holiday, we want you to take a photo of it and include your JustGiving web address in the picture somehow. The best photo will win a £50 donation and the runners up will get a honourable mention on the new blog.*
If you’re going to be indulging in Britain’s favourite Bank Holiday past time and doing a bit of DIY, why not paint your JustGiving address on an unfinished wall? Or if you’re heading down to the beach, how about spelling it out in pebbles or writing it in the sand? And if that’s not adventurous enough, you could try persuading your local football club to run it across their electronic scoreboard.
Once you have your photo, head over to http://www.facebook.com/justgiving – become a fan if you’re not already – and post it as an attachment on our Wall. That way it will automatically go into Fan Photos on the Photos tab. If you don’t use Facebook, or if you’d prefer to send your photo straight from your smartphone, email it to competitions@justgiving.com and we’ll upload it for you.
You have your assignment, now go!
And if you like the image above, try Spell with flickr.
*You don’t have to have a fundraising page to enter this competition. Show a friend some extra support by taking a photo featuring their JustGiving address and you could win a £50 donation for them!
