New! Add to Mobile Wallet for Seamless Offline Sharing

One in every four donations on JustGiving come through sharing activity!

Fundraisers around the world use JustGiving’s Fundraising Pages to raise money for charity, sharing their personal story by adding text, photos, live updates, and more.

So, we thought, why not give them more ways to show off their pages – and collect more donations – in person?

Today we’re introducing Add to Mobile Wallet: a brand new and super-simple way people around the world can share their JustGiving Fundraising pages and grow awareness for your mission.

Introducing Add to Mobile Wallet

When fundraisers share their pages in person, they can convey their passion in ways that just can’t be matched virtually.

As part of our commitment to make fundraising even more possible, effective, and fun, we’re excited to show you our newest sharing tool: Add to Mobile Wallet!

Add to Mobile Wallet helps fundraisers share their page with others in person.

Apple’s Wallet app is a digital space people store and access eligible credit/debit cards, passes, vouchers, and more, eliminating the need to carry physical cards.

Now supporters using iPhone and Apple Watch can save any Fundraising Page as a pass in their Wallet, meaning they’ll never miss a donation opportunity again.

Say one of your supporters is at a parkrun, chatting about their upcoming fundraising challenge. Instead of looking up URLs or promising to “send the link later,” they can pull out their phone, open Wallet, and boom, their page’s QR code is right there to scan.

Their pass features the fundraiser’s name, plus the page’s QR code, title, fundraising target, closing date, and the charity they’re fundraising for (with more updates coming down the track).

How do fundraisers use Add to Mobile Wallet?

Fundraisers using iPhone or Apple Watch can get their page into Wallet with a few taps, then show it off with just a double-click on their device. Apple users just click “Add to Apple Wallet” in their page’s sharing options, and it pops right up.

It’s easy to add a Fundraising Page to Wallet with only a few taps.

Here are a few more ways fundraisers can use Add to Mobile Wallet:

  • Share with friends and colleagues at work or during a night out.
  • Quickly share with strangers whilst chatting on the train or at the coffee shop.
  • Pull up for fellow participants met during a multi-day fitness challenge.
  • Proud parents can share their child’s page with friends.
Fundraisers can bring up their page’s pass just as easily on Apple Watch too!

More ways fundraisers can share offline

Printable fundraising posters

With ready-to-print Fundraising Page posters, your supporters can paint the town and grow awareness about your cause to thousands of new people. They’re perfect for a community bulletin board, the lunchroom at work, or a local coffee shop or gym.

Posters feature the fundraiser’s story and photos, the page’s QR code, plus automatically update the total raised every time it’s generated.

Fundraising Page QR codes

People can easily grab a Fundraising Page’s QR code just by adding “/qrcode” to the end of the URL. For example, https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/wwf-wild-swim/qrcode. From there, they can add it to leaflets, collection tins, or even t-shirts to easily get donations from others with just a scan.

Add offline donations

Fundraisers can reach their target faster by adding any offline donations they get to their Fundraising Page’s total! If they receive donations in cash or get support on another platform, they can simply add it to their page. See how it works.

Fundraising events are booming and offline sharing can be powerful in growing the amazing work you do. Help your charity’s supporters to raise more online and offline by creating a Campaign Page on JustGiving.
