With the public ballot now closed, it’s time for charities to get planning and prepped for their runners to start fundraising. Here’s how to get your charity’s 2025 event fundraising off to a flying start. 

Free £5 donations for London Marathon 2025 fundraisers on JustGiving 

More money’s raised in London Marathon on JustGiving than any other fundraising platform. In 2024, London Marathon runners used JustGiving – the world’s most trusted fundraising platform – to raise a record-breaking £42 million for charities like yours! 

And now’s the perfect time to ask your runners to create their Fundraising Page for the 2025 event. 

Starting today, 6,000 London Marathon runners will get *free £5 donations just by creating a London Marathon 2025 Fundraising Page on JustGiving for your charity!

How to use this incentive to raise more money for your charity 

1. Create your London Marathon 2025 Campaign Page 
   Head to the JustGiving London Marathon 2025 Fundraising Hub to learn how (and see our newest resources, tools, and tips). 
    

2. Link your Campaign to the London Marathon 2025 Event 
   When creating your Campaign Page, in the Event Details section, search for and choose London Marathon 2025 (Event ID: 8739305). This makes it so your fundraisers contribute to your total raised in London Marathon. 
    

3. Share with your fundraisers to increase their chances 
   Copy, customise, and send this to London Marathon runners on your email list and social media: Calling our London Marathon fundraisers! Starting today, JustGiving will donate an extra £5 to the first 6,000 Fundraising Pages created for London Marathon. Help us by creating your page now – this would go a long way for our cause: [include your Campaign Page’s Fundraising Deep Link here]. 

That’s it! If they’re one of the first 6,000 to create their London Marathon Fundraising page, we’ll drop that £5 bonus donation directly on their page.
