Quirky, colourful and quintessentially Brighton, we welcome runners to come and experience the unique buzz of the Brighton Half. Thousands of spectators come to cheer on the runners, creating an unmissable atmosphere for all involved.
£1 million raised for great causes every single year
The Brighton Half is one of the most popular races in the UK’s Half Marathon calendar – and will be celebrating its 33rd year in in 2023.
The Brighton Half is organised by Brighton-based HIV charity The Sussex Beacon, and first started in the early 1990s. As a charity-organised event, charity partners are a hugely important part of the identity of the event and charity runners typically form 20% of the race field. With over 12,000 places, it’s the perfect place to showcase your charity.
Over £1 million is raised for charity by Brighton Half Marathon runners each year – why not encourage your supporters to take on the challenge and get running for good? It couldn’t be easier for them to fundraise – before, on and after the big day.
The team at Brighton Half hosted a webinar this October, talking all things race preparation and what you need to know for the big day. Watch it here and take a look through the Brighton Half Marathon downloadable charity guide for more information.
