Enhanced Facebook sharing

Our new partnership with Meta makes social media giving even easier! Facebook app users will now see Donate buttons on JustGiving pages shared as posts on Facebook.

You and your fundraisers can use it now: just make sure your charity’s registered with Meta and your charity number matches what’s on JustGiving. Learn more and get registered.

Post-page creation prompts

Creating a Fundraising Page is a big step…but what fundraisers do next is just as important.

Immediately after publishing their page, fundraisers will now see recommended next steps – Donate, Share, and Add to Wallet – so they take the right actions at the right time. In our tests, fundraisers who see these prompts get donations faster and raise more.

Fundraisers can feel more confident and supported when they know what to do next. They’ll see suggested actions straight away after creating their page.

Suggested outcomes and real-time donations

We know that donating money to causes is deeply personal, and it’s important for people to see how their donation is helping. Now when a donor on JustGiving chooses their donation amount, they’ll instantly see the impact, dynamically based on the Fundraising Page’s target.

  • E.g: “£1,000 moves them 10% closer to their target”
  • E.g: “£150 smashes the goal”

Knowing the difference your contribution makes (and how close someone is to reaching their goal) inspires people to give.

Refreshed Edit and Settings sections

We’ve made the Edit and Settings sections of a fundraiser’s account easier to view, manage, and edit.

Top tips for the most important Edit options

Fundraisers want to do their best, and we have plenty of data to show them how! Now we’ll include some expert tips in subsections like Page title, target, and story to let them know what works best and raises more.

Dedicated sections for Settings and Edit options

We’ve given customisable page options like Page title, URL, Fundraising target, story, and page cover their own space (and some extra breathing room) for easier navigation.

We applied this to the Settings section too, so Gift Aid options, Team fundraising, and fitness integration options are easier to navigate.
